Members of the Pulaski Community School District Board of Education voted to reduce the tax impact of the district’s referendum at their meeting on Wednesday, August 15. If voters support the $33 million measure, which will appear on the ballot during the November 6 Presidential Election, PCSD residents will see an 82 cent mill rate increase beginning with the 2013-2014 school year, down from the board’s original proposal that would have increased mill rates by $1.15.
As part of the referendum, every school in the district would see renovations and repairs. The proposal also includes plans for a new district athletic complex, aquatic center and funds for classroom technology.
