After a total of 22 ½ hours, the recount process has come to an end.
Final result of the referendum question 2 is 3,063 Yes votes and 3,053 No votes.
The District would like to thank all the municipal clerks, county clerks, poll workers, tabulators, and Board of Canvassers for all ofthe hard work and time put into the recount!
“We are very thankful that the citizens of the Pulaski Community School District have allowed the District to complete vital and necessary repairs to our school Buildings. We are glad that we will be able to upgrade our security measures by retrofitting the entrances to our schools. The energy efficiency measures called for in this referendum question will allow the district to save money in the long run. The real winners in this referendum recount are the people who believe in the American democracy. Every voice needs to be heard and every vote counts.” said Dr. Lightner, Superintendent of Schools.
